Fit Intent
Fit: Designed for a relaxed, considered silhouette.
Per product category -
Shirts: Relaxed fit through the body
Jackets: Structured with room for layering
Denim: Straight leg with ease through the hip.
Between-Sizes?
If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for ease or down for a closer fit.
For denim, If you are between waist sizes, choose your true waist, always.
Fabric Behavior
Denim
Blu Moda denim will soften with wear. There is no-stretch, as our denim is meant to hold its shape.
Our denim is served raw. Due to the nature of indigo, there is a potential for bleeding. If you wish to minimize this, soak your denim in cold water prior to your first wear. Which helps set the indigo dye.
Afterward, hang them to dry, wash them inside out in cold water, and avoid contact with light-colored, wet surfaces
The best form of care is wear.
Knitwear
Knits have natural give. For longevity it is best to hand wash in cold water and hang dry in a cool environment. The heat from the tumble dry will ruin the rib. Washing in cold water also helps to maintain the richness of the fibers.
How to Measure
Chest - Measure around the fullest part of the chest.
Waist - Measure at your natural waist.
Hip - Measure at the fullest part of the seat (ass).
Shrinkage / Care Notes
Minor shrinkage may occur if the garments are machine dried. We recommend air drying all of our garments in cool / non moist environments. For moderate dirt, consider spot cleaning.
If you do wash your denim, there is a natural shrinkage of 3% in the warp and weft. It is best to not wash your denim. Please do not contact us if the machine shrinks your garment.
